Top Notch Yellow Wire On Blower Motor
If the connectivity is available then that wire is to be connected to ground terminal of the supply system.
Yellow wire on blower motor. Small blower motor with yellow black an orange wire need to know which is positive neagative an ground what does the motor nameplate say. Do you plan on doing the work yourself. I m wiring a new blower motor.
Unsure if the orange common wire that is shown attached to the capacitor is what s supposed to be spliced with the yellow wire coming out of the new motor it is a 3 speed motor d1036 that s replacing the original 4speed motor that was 20 years old or so. Anything else we should know to help you best. That turned out to be the case in my unit.
Red blue black orange and yellow bare wire leads with a brown lead and an orange lead that each have a crimped connector. Or a wire with white purple and yellow stripes. On your new motor the yellow lead is one of the line wires along with one of the three speed wires which are black blue and red.
Did you google the motor manuf part. Both the brown wires are capacitor wires and the one with the white stripe is electrically the same as the yellow wire so the pink wire from the transformer should be on the the same capacitor post as the brown with white striped wire. So whatever the white wire connected to on your old motor is where the white wire on your new motor should connect to.
Rather it likely has common high speed and low speed conductors with a frame ground. It s not likely to have a positive a negative or a ground. In your new motor the white still needs to connect to your ac neutral.
The wiring coming from the motor is. It has a yellow wire that the old one did not. I just finished replacing the ge motor in my unit with a mars blower motor.
